2008 – graphite. the cuneiform in her shoulder means INANNA, which is the percursor of the akkadian ishtar, also a goddess of love and sex. the cuneiform in his arm means DINGIR, a god, any god, or AN, the sky god. in this piece I wanted to capture the hierogamos, the sacred marriage with the goddess in an explicit way.
